Well if he does treat you like you say he does, then it shouldn't be too long. As for the time-frame. Don't go with that, if you think that after 4 months you should start saying it, then you have the wrong idea about those three words. Those three words should be said when you truly feel this feeling, a feeling you've never felt before, this feeling makes you want to leap tall buildings, makes you want to shout to the world about him, makes you have that weird and special and amazing feeling you never felt before, that is "love", until all that and so much more happens, and you truly believe you are in love, that's when you say it. I'm glad your not like most people who just say it for the sake of saying it, when all they really mean is that they really like you. So well take your time with it, it's better you are completely sure then just saying it because he said it.

He'll say it when he's ready and the time is right. What ever you choose to do don't push the issue because you'll only end up pushing him away instead. If indeed he loves yoy he'll say it, you just wait and see. Saying I love you is a huge thing for guys. Give him time it will happen soon! Good luck.

well let everything fall into place and wait. Things like that aren't timed or you could hint towards it but not in an obvious way. I kind of did that but that's a long story. In fact if he doesn't say it for some months ask him and if goes on years or even close to the first year he may not feel the same way but don't say it let him say it to you.... WAITING GAME!! I know it hurts to wait but it's worth knowing if this was a good decision or not...

Some guys have trouble saying, I love you. You shouldn't focus on that. Instead you should be focusing on the good times and enjoying the moments. He will eventually say those words,,, I hope.

There is no "time frame," but there is a comfort zone. I hate that people have to play these games. You know you all are in love, right, but you just haven't said it yet. I tended to wait on guys. I think I asked my husband before he told me and he said, "Yes, I love you, you know I do." I told him the next day. I'd be in my mind, silently saying, "I love you! I love you! I love you!" Once it gets out, its out and we tell each other repeatedly all the time. Awww, honey! You're in looove. Isn't it grand?

The right time to say "I love you" should be when the person honestly feels that way. There is no time frame you cant time love. But it shouldnt be said to someone unless you truly meant it.

I think it is a matter of personal feelings. I've been hurt a few times, so I tend to delay those all-important words for longer than I should. Go with your heart,.

You don't plan on saying it yourself?
I'm going to assume that you do love him but you don't want to be the first one to say it? Or something like that...that or you just like to hear people say it but for whatever reason you don't?
I dunno...
But umm...usually people say it whenever they feel it...I'm sure many people will tell you that people will say it whenever they feel it...
I wound up saying it to my bf after dating for a couple of weeks...I didn't even mean it like that though..He made me laugh really hard and I wound up saying "I love you, man" now we say it to each other all the time..and I actually do mean it like that now...but...umm...yeah..
I don't know...maybe try slipping it out like I did...after your bf makes you laugh or soemthing wind up casually saying "I love you" like you would with a friend or something...
