Since it's Sunday night and you will be able to see your dentist tomorrow, just keep the temp in a safe place and call them in the morning. Nothing bad is going to happen overnight. It really should be back on your tooth, though, while waiting for the premanent crown on the 23rd.

You need to call your dentist for them to put it back on. If you dont, the teeth next to it can move. It will be harder for the dentist to fit your permanent crown. If you can't get in right away, polident it in, make sure the inside of the temp is dry and your tooth is dry, use toilet paper by biting on it, and then stick it back in. Brush away any left overs.

go to the drug store and get the home kit of temp filling/ crown cement if you were filling a hole you would mix it a little viscous, but for a crown you want to mix the cement stiff clean and dry what is left of the tooth and then place cement in the crown put it on dry tooth bite down on a cotton roll or something to apply pressure for a few min then avoid eating on that side. of course make it to your crown seating appt.

You need to put it back on--even tonight! You can put toothpaste or Vasoline inside the temporary and that will give you enough suction to get you by until they get you in tomorrow. It's important to get the temporary on there or teeth will start to shift around and then your real crown may not fit.

Either go to the store (Wal-Mart) and get some temporary cement or yes, you can use Polygrip. If you don't do one of these, you need to let the dentist or his assistant put it back on before your teeth shift.
