i mean he talks to me by texting me cause he says he hates talkin on the phone and can't stand it. does he not like me or just too shy to call??

I myself am the same way. I loathe talking on the phone, but I like to text (when I've got the money, ha ha). It just bugs me because I usually get bored and zone out watching television or playing on the computer.
He could be shy, yes, but I doubt it. I think it would be easier to talk to someone over the phone than in real life, as far as shyness goes...
I think he really just doesn't like talking on the phone. See if he has e-mail, IM's are also pretty fun! That, and go on dates more if you want to compensate for lost time with no talking on the telephone.
...but it's fine. He likes you, you aren't in jeopardy because he has something against the phone. :) <3

Guys, unlike women, can actually run out of things to say. He might be afraid of running short on conversation and you listening to dead air. Text messages can solve that problem. I do not care about text messages because it is easier to lie in text than live voice. Just like it is easier to lie over the phone than in person.

I have the same issue but with a woman, she texts me all the time but if I call her she doesn't answer.....I asked her about it and she says that sometimes she thinks about me and justs want to remind me of that, by not having to call, but by sending a little message. Maybe he is just trying to be special and text you instead of calling where there is that moment after you basically run out of things to say and it is dead air, where texting there is no dead air. Just a though

As a shy person, I would have to say it is possible that he finds it hard to talk to people he is genuinely attracted to. Good luck!

Probably just shy, easier to text you. Then you don't hear his voice cracking, or blurting out something silly.

maybe he gets too nervous talking on the phone, and he just feels more at ease texting.

nothing. maybe he just can't tell his emotions through phone unlike in text massaging.
