all u christians who answer questions like this by trying to scare us into falling into their scams arent going to fool any of us atheists

I agree with your point.
Also with the abortion questions.. People freak out and dont even help the person with the question. They just freak out and tell them that they're going to hell and have regret and blah blah blah..
Drives me crazy.

Whose trying to scare anyone? This is just a place for people to exchange views, via Q&A about anything. It just happens of all the sections available, you, and I, we all chose Religion>Spirituality. We all have our own reasons for being here, though, I do wish the non-religious ones that just want to bash ALL religions would leave. And for whatever reason you are here, is it curiosity? If a question is asked, we'll answer, honestly.

And do the athiests believe they'll convince Christians to believe otherwise? Whatever the case may be, nobody's going to convince anybody of anything unless a person is seeking to change.

I don't think I will change your beliefs at all. If anything, the more contention that is generated between different sides--the more loyal each side will become to the side they have chosen.

what happened to just being nice to people, despite their religion? no offense to you or christians, it just seems like you should be respectful, no matter what. but what can i say? i don't even know what religion i should be a part of yet. it seems that all of them are just angry at each other.

It would seem that instead of being open minded individuals... and if you are Americans... one of our inalienable rights... is freedom of religion. It is hard to listen to people when they preach instead of discussing or debating!

no we dont. if you dont want to read the bullitins some of us post scroll by. i mean some athiest do the same thing on here. they say were crazy and should get a life. but i just scroll on by. if it bothers you just ignore it and soon you wont even notice its there.

Probably not, but if you ask a question, we answer. And it never hurts to try. If you don't like it, nobody is forcing you to be here.
