that are lactose free such as soymilk or lactose free milks, but I do like mocha mix, which states that you can put it in coffee. I was just wondering whether it was okay to drink it and use it for cereal and what not?? Just wondering because I started to but I dont want to get sick from it, if I shouldnt be using it in that way.

I never had a problem with Mocha Mix! I used to mix bottled spring water in with it because I found the taste to be too "thick" for my own personal taste. You just need to make sure your baby isn't getting any allergic reactions from what you are eating & drinking, because it all goes into your breastmilk. I breastfed for over 2 years & I ended up a complete raw food vegan because my baby was allergic to everything that I ate, so I feel for you in your quest for the "food balance"!!!

Why did the doctor tell you not to drink milk while you are breastfeeding? I have never heard of that unless the baby is lactose intolerant.

I am surprised that your Dr. told you not to drink Milk. I drank lots of milk and breast fed all three of my Babies, and the third was born with heart trouble. The milk I drank during the pregnancy helped me to have good healthy milk to feed him, and I was told by my Dr. that was the healthiest thing for him to be breast fed and it was good healthy nourishing milk as I got my calcium in me through it. If I were you I would get a second opinion. As far as the mix, I never heard of it sorry.

Have you tried So Nice or So Good soy milk? They are really very tasty and better than the cheap brands. Definitely better for you than that artificial coffee creamer stuff, and you have to be careful about what chemicals you're putting in your body when you're breast feeding!
