The reason I ask is because I'm becoming a vegeterian. I want to know what's in meat so I can find other fruits and vegetables with the same nutrients like protein and so on. If u could please tell me what's in meat and where else can I find it, I'll be very happy!

You will be missing mainly on proteins. Your body breaks down those proteins to amino acid subunits. Your body use the amino acids to make different stuff. You can get many of those amino acids through eating plants rich with proteins, but you will be missing on meat amino acids that are not found in any plant. But you will be survive, so no worries :)

Being a vegetarian is harder. Meat gives you all of your necessary proteins in one glup.

Being a vegetarian requires your body to make that same loop of proteins, but "travel" farther to make the neccessary proteins.

Typically as a general rule of thumb you body likes you being lazy and doing things easier, since meat is easier for your body because it has what you need, it tastes better.

When people don't like meat, it has become more of an acquired taste, or distaste.

Don't become a vegetarian because you want to diet and lose weight. Honestly I probably shouldn't tell you that, because your reasons are your own. but be sure to do all of your necessary research before. My old roommate tried becoming a vegetarian and instead of researching it out, just gave up meat, within several months she was getting sick left and right from malnurishment.

Protein is in almost everything. It's the easiest nutrient to get. Eat the RDA of whole grains and legumes and you'll be fine.

Protein, fat and amino acids are what you mostly get from meat

Use cheeses, eggs, or if you are going vegan; beans, tofu, certain types of bean sprout etc.
