Yes, there is. If you're an immigrant, by definition, you're legal. It's just that there's about 12-20 million illegal ALIENS in our country who've got no legal right to be in it that are causing all the problems. Our immigration system's fine, it's just sadly overloaded because too many people are trying to get in by any means possible all at once. Illegal aliens aren't immigrants. It's closer to trespassing, and then you get into labor laws etc., and it just gets ugly from there.

It's bad English, but then, when the President can't say "new clear" and the military have all decided to change the pronunciation of "cache") from the French word for hidden collection, pronounced "cash") to "cashay" (a French word "cachet," meaning a certain quality of some sort, what do you expect. Then there's Eye-rak and Eye-ran. Run, indeed.
