Distilled water is fine and no its not just for car batteries.

Distilled water is pure water and totally fine healthwise. That doesn't mean other waters are bad; tap water contains fluoride, which helps strengthen teeth. And contrary to popular belief, not all water taste the same. Many bottled water do taste differently because they are natural water that run over rocks in the river and cause rock minerals to be in the water and make it have a taste. normal Distilled water tastes funny.

Distilled water is perfectly safe to drink. They use it to top off car batteries (the old ones) as it is clear of impurities.

just don't drink it all the time. there are a bunch of electrolytes that mineral and other water-types that your body needs, that have been removed in the distillation process.
