My kids steal money from me all the time, I have to hide my wallet, they help themselves to anything they want, never ask, never say thank you, they just throw their dirty clothes on the floor, leave their dirty plates on the table, call me a dirty stinking old man, you want bad behaviour? Wow, just see my kids.

They yelled out me 2 hours after I had my first child because my mother insulted my husband and said that he would leave me. she said he will leave the hospital, go out for cigs and never come back. So when she called back he didn't want to talk to her. So my father yelled at me saying that he was being disrespectful and had no right to be that way toward my mother. Needless to say, The nurse came in and asked what was wrong. If it was hormones or something and I told her. She apologized and said that was very mean of them.

its to ignore my request to swap my older sister for a brother, or anything else for that matter! she made all our lives a misery but then, in later years she turned out ok(ish). then to top it all, my mother kept saying 'oh you're all the same' but i dint leave school because i was pregnant at 16! nor did i threaten suicide if my parents didnt sign underage marriage papers...for a long long time i had to get my head around this...i could write a book on half the rest i feel is unjust but hey, i'll rather focus on the good, otherwise bitterness might consume me, and i got too much to live for now! keep your chin up honey!

I once got into a fight with my Mom when she was coked up and had to beat her to the floor to just get away when I was 15. That sucked. Another time my family made me eat in the kitchen when we had Easter at my house just so her boyfriend of a few months could eat with us. Oh well. .. .

I was brought up being told I was stupid never amount to anything but the worst was when I was 11 and got an I hate u letter from my mom. we r close now but it took years to work thru that garbage.

Yes. Families all have problems though. It really depends on who in your family was doing it, an aunt or cousin wouldn't be as bad as your parents.

My father was very verbally abusive. Calls me horrible names that I can't imagine any real father would say to their daughter...really horrible things. It still hurts but I try not to think of it.

my mom kicked me out of the house when i was 16, because i told my older brother to clean up after himself. he's 10 years older than me and he's a pig and moron.
