Since you asked this in Etiquette, I will give you the official etiquette answer.
Everyone should do absolutely nothing and politely pretend that nothing happened.
One is assumed to not be in control of flatulence. Therefore anyone saying or doing anything (including the "culprit") draws attention to it and is rude.
This is different from a burp, which one is assumed to be in control of, and requires an "excuse me."
I don't make the rules, but I read about them!
Sorry if this isn't the funniest answer, but it's the correct one in terms of etiquette.

It depends if it is a really loud nasty one I would take the credit, but if it was just a little one I would try and pass it off as someone elses.I only want credit for the ones I can be proud of!

Unless I'm with my three teenage boys, I just ignore it.
I have gotten off an elevator at a much earlier floor, though, when it happened in small spaces!!

if it was a crowed 2of 5 or less u could tell but if its more than 5 its a little harder 2 tell who did what
