I usually feed my dog 1 cup of food for high energy dogs, plus my parents give her tons of cookies and dog treats. The way i keep her healthy... 5mile jog in the morning and 5 mile jog at night. You should feed your dog depending on its own requirements and food type. 1 1/2 cup for your dog of regular food would be ok

The recommended amounts by age and weight are usually printed on the side of the bag or box.

depends on the kind of dog food, if you're feeding him dry dog food then just look at the feeding guidlines on the bag.
