When you have a baby, you can pretty well put your life on hold till they graduate from college, unless you have a really good support system (ie full time babysitter) to watch your kid...if you have to pay for one you are pretty well putting your money from your pocket into theirs.
I would not rush to have a baby. Use this time wisely and work and save and get a good foundation for what you need. A baby can put a lot of pressure on a relationship, even split people up or drive them to affairs due to all the stress and financial woes etc.
So think good and hard before deciding what to do. I had my kids at 33, 36 and 39 and my house was paid for by then and I stay home with them now and work part time from home. Much easier and I get to be with them too which is how I wanted it all along. No doubt it's easier when you are younger, but if you don't mind starving through the lean years when the babies are older and you are 35 ish you might be able to go out and start a life then...don't be surprised if you are too burnt out however...I know I was by then! LOL

There is no exact "right" age for one to have a baby. It is something that should be discussed with your partner. If you and your partner feel that you both are responsible enough to take care of the baby at this age, then it is fine. However, taking care of a baby is hardwork and requires time, care and lots of responsibility. Its is not something that will disappear and reappear when you feel like it. Once you give birth to ones' life, it needs to be taken care and loved for the rest of its life. Which may mean decreasing the amount of time partying and spending more time with your child in the future.

The future plays an ideal part since you need to think about the baby's future: What to avoid to prevent risk during pregnant? What will you do when the baby gets sick? Cry in the middle of the night? Education? Adolescent years?
Personal Finance is also a key role because you need to support yourself, baby and partner as a whole. It would be best if you have a stable job and is able to earn enough money to pay for baby essentials and pay for food and bills.

I personally think its best if one were to marry first because you wouldn't want a child to be motherless or fatherless when it grows up. Have everthing thought over and planned including present, future, then proceed to the next step.
It is great that you have money saved for incase, but if you're not willing to sacrafice your partying life and hold responsibility for a baby before and after birth, then maybe its not the right time for you to get a baby.
Talk to your partner and both decide what is best. If you think you have the traits of a future mother and is ready, then the age should not be a limiting factor.

Around 23 is a good age. over 30 is a bit much dont you think? from 20 - 23 is perfect for baby making. younger you'll regret it, older you'll want a baby befor you are older than 25 anyways so yeah. you should have a good job not a McDonalds/Chick Fa La job that only pays minimum wadge. unless the father has a good job then you can possibly get by with a minimum job

There is no right age to have a baby, but you'd be best off if you have a secure, well-paying job, lots of money saved, a home large enough to accommodate a child, and, if you want your relationship to last, have been together/married for at least a few years before having a child (so you know that you're ready for the stress it's going to bring on both of you and on your relationship).

The "Ideal" age to have a baby is between 20-30 according to the books. However, more women are starting their families in their 30's.
I had my first baby at 21. I wish I had waited a little while. 25 seems to be a good age.
Good luck!

I think that the right time to have a baby is when you and your boyfriend, number one think that your relationship will be more of a permanent situation, i.e. marriage or at least being engaged. In addition I would make sure that you are financially stable enough to take on the inevitable costs with raising a family. If money isn't the issue, make sure that you have the proper environment for your child to grow up in and be nurtured with a good education system. Good luck to you in any event and always make sure to have proper planning.

Age doesn't really matter, maturity does. Maturity means making good decisions in your life, protecting those you love and willing to make sacrifices for family. Marriage is a great step to maturity because you learn alot about compromise and patience after that most people are ready for kids. So get married and show that you and your boyfriend can commit to each other first, than feed your baby fever. Good luck whatever you choose.
