It is normal to lose about a hundred hairs a day however most people with short hair barely ever notice this as it just goes right down the drain, people with longer hair tend to notice as it gets clogged more easily. While it has been said that hairloss can be caused by stressful times, I would pay a visit to your doctor, have a physical to rule out any deficiencies, If that checks out it could very well be Male pattern baldness, this is determined by the mothers side of the family(her father, grandfather) not your dads, you can try a product called "NIOXIN" but it takes several months to see any changes which is normal for any type of product for hairloss/thinning hair

My husband started loosing his hair when he was 18 yrs. old. His father is not bald he has a nice set of hair. But his(my hubby) mother's brother's are bald so I believe that it is the side of the mother, um so look at your uncles on your moms side and check to see if they are loosing or did loose their hair. But I think for a man being bald it's pretty attractive. If your uncommfortable why don't you just shave your head, everybodys doing it anyway.

If I were you I would go to the doctors and have a check to make sure I was healthy. If all is okay thatn I would just live with the baldness. If you are worried about it you could get a wig, get hair plugs, etc. If you are a male - alot of woman love men that are going bald.

Your hair is going to continue to thin as you get older. Sure you can try the products out there, but i am sure they won't work. Just embrace it. Many men nowadays, especially in your age group shave their head. Your mom and dad don't have to be bald for you to inherit it. You could take after an uncle, or grandparent. My husband takes after his grandfather, as does his brother. His mom and dad both have full, thick heads of hair. If it were stress related it only would have been temporarily and it would have came out in big blobs.

Make an appointment with a Dermatologist FIRST, to find out if it's "Male Pattern Baldness" or of it's being caused by something else... Then You'll know how to go about treatment.

Stress can do it!
If you want to know whether or not your going to be bald, then look at your mothers father. His genes determine yours.

It's probably male patern baldness.. and the best predictor is your maternal Grandfather.
