I`m not sure why people are getting this, but there is also a Drug Induced Vitiligo.
I think Vitilogo is what Micheal Jackson..

You lose skin color and that causes Vitiligo.
Melanin is lost from the affected area.
There is no satisfactory cure.
There are no known specific reasons.

it's quite likely an autoimmune condition, i.e. your body destroys the pigment producing cells that give you your skin tone. it looks like the hand on the right.
