30 minutes of activity a day. Swimming helps fit your body into shape and straighten out the muscles. Eat regurarly, and eat whatever you want. You don't need to eat anything you don't like, like vegetables. If you do like them, you can. Don't starve yourself, that will only make it worse. Just do a lot of activity, so you can increase your metabolism. Jogging, the gym, etc.
Good Luck =)

Weight Watchers is really good! The point system is great and you can still eat anywhere! The points may seem hard to keep track of at first but once you're on it for a few weeks you remember the points for the things you eat the most and you can also get a point calculator that is small and can be carried around with you. But if you're just looking to cut down...cut out sugar and butter and cut carbs where you can. Choose low fat or fat free items whenever possible and drink lots of water.
Of course add more activity even if its small things like parking at the back of a parking lot when you go to a store to get in some extra walking.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.
Get started today!

Cut out sugar. Switch to whole grain carbs (basically no white breads). Eat lean meats and veggies. Just a little fruit.
I recommend reading The South Beach Diet. It's a really healthy way to eat and you will lose weight and get your body chemistry where it should be. I've been doing it and have lost 17 pounds so far.

Pick up the pace.
Move. Especially using the stairs.
Drink lots of very cold water.
Eat frequent, small meals throughout the day. Don't go longer than 3 hours.
Get lots of sleep 8-9 hours per night. Your body's stress relievers will let go of fat reserves.
