I would love to be able to finanically suport the IDF or just the people, but I can barely afford rent on my itty bitty apt. I wish there was a HUGE "kick their facist butts" card we could all sign and send to them. I feel so helpless, and restless. I am sure they feel like the whole world is against them. How many countries would stand for even one missle targeting their people. Israel has had thousand fall. And people have the audacity to tell them to be patient. The last time someone attacked us in this manner we dropped two nulcear bombs on their country. And nobody whined about the "kilt children then" nobody told us to "be patient with the Taliban" Hizballah is like all terrorists. Israels enemies are all terroists. I just wish I could help. Any Ideas????

Oh Kayy, this really is not a chat format, and I was really just looking for ideas on how to help. I understand tho that some of you may be misinformed as to the state of things concerning the 1916 (Sykes-Picot) Agreement, as well as the 1948 Declaration of a Jewish state and the agreement that was offered all the resident Arabs at that time; to stay and live side by side intergrated with the existing Jews, immigrating Jews, Christians, Turks, & etc. The only reason the Muslims are out of certian areas is because of a war they started and Israel won. Israel then asked the world to draw boundries for the sake of the Arabs who refused to live in a Jewish state controlled by a Jewish majority. Israel since has given and given and given, and all they gain is more terrorism. To compare this with the atrocity commited by the early Aericans on the Native North Americans, is insane and shows a great lack of understanding, due to I assume very little investigation and or schooling.

I said the Sikes-Picot agreement because that is what I meant. It was the agreement that set the modern borders for the Middle East. Initially the land was much larger. (The Balfour in 1919 gave all the land west and an even larger amount to the east of the Jordan to the Jews) At that time there were fewer than 250,000 Arabs (not all were Muslim and all were living in abject poverty due to Turkish rule) including the nomadic Bedou, in the area of Israel. It wasn't untill after the Jews started to immigrate enmasse and improve the land that the Arabs even claimed a right to the land. A right to work side by side, that Israel did not dispute, untill the wars and terrorism got to overwhelming. If you want a graphic illustration of Israels generous heart; kindly remember that the temple mount was reclaimed by Israel in 1967. They defended the Muslims desire to worship on the mount and due to their kindness have been all but thrown violently down from it.

Racel Corrie found no truth, she was only in the middle of a war, on the wrong side.
You forget to mention that the very people she died defending attempted to kidnapp her parents on Jan. 4 of this year. People who kidnap innocents to use as bargaining chips are not people worth defending.
People who literally hold babies while they launch rockets are not worth losing your life for. And yet here again is an example of Iraels self defeating kindess. The soldier who did not shoot the Hizballah terrorist while he fired his rocket into Israel, is lauded as a "hero" among his own army. A credit to the nation. I personally think he is fairly dumb. I wonder if the heros thought of the infants and children on United 93 that went down in PA instead of in Washington D.C., I am sure they did. I am glad I did not have to make the decision. But again if there is nothing worth dying for then ther is nothing in life worth living for.

I would go and volunteer, It would be an honor to serve with people like Rabin's grandaughter Noa, who unlike the relatives of Arab leaders (and others) serves allongside the people. But again no $$ to get there, otherwise, I feel I could be brave enough to be on the next flight.
