The Verichip?

Alright,I always wanted to post a question a this. To let you know im a non-denominational christian, Who sees that were on the last days (wouldnt matter to an atheist or an agnostic since they dont believe). To my christian brothers and sisters, Do you see this as another prophecy being fulfilled about the mark of the beast or no? All answers would be grately appreciated by believers in christ, Atheist and agnostic dont need to answer this one since you say "there is not a god". :)

It's not the mark, yet, but I have no doubt it will be. It's really the only thing that could apply as the mark. They're already developing it for medical reasons, have actually started using it, they're using it already for tracking purposes, on heads of governments in case of kidnapping, but I'm sure it won't be long before it'll be used for identification, especially in this time of constant fear of terrorists. Then it will be used to handle banking, that's when we have to start getting worried.

I can also see how they'll have to use the hand or forehead for it, can you just see people in the dead of winter trying to check out at the grocery with their chip on their shoulder or something, wearing winter coats? It would be difficult, so the hand or forehead would be very easy to access.

For Adobeprincess, Revelation says that during the tribulation everyone will have to have a mark on their forehead or hand, without which they will not be able to buy or sell. The mark will signify the number 666, the mark of the antichrist. I don't think it will be an actual 666, but the company that makes it will probably be named something that translates to 666 in the ancient Hebrew numberical system, which converts letters to numbers. Nero Cesear translated to 666, but I'm sure his name isn't the only one to do that.

The tribulation is suppose to start during the generation of Israel becoming a nation again, which happened in 1948, and a biblical generation is 70 years, which gives us up until 2018 for the tribulation to start.

God bless you bro. and I do think that the antichrist will use the technology to his advantage as you can now see it is among us and with the way things in the middle east escalating to the point of Ez. Ch. 38-39 I see it happening in our time!

Of course the Jews would still have to build the The Temple and perform their sacrifices in order for this prophecy to come true!

Praise God that the Jewish temple is going to be built soon! As you should know the Jewish people are already preparing their roles and temple activities for the Temple and daily sacrifices!

I to am non-denominational and believe in the pre-tribulation rapture!

lol, Zilla. do not you omit Deke in some thoughts? i don't think of the Verichip permits you to regulate human beings, yet i'd properly be incorrect (horror of horrors). Please explain. I am Catholic, but I do not understand. Is this a chip where our info would be recorded for the govt. Please excuse my ignorance, but I did not learn about this in the bible or in church. I do not understand this sounds like modern tech. Please explain?

Malak thanks for the expanation. I think I understand what the connection is better between the bible and the technology. I find this chip stuff creapy. I do have my dog micro chipped, but I would not chip a child, because of the implications at adulthood. People should not be chipped or printed. I know they keep data on us with frequent shopper cards and kids with print id and schools for food. One solution get a frequent shopper card and fill it out with false info or do not fill it out at all. Or share them with friends so the info gets all jumbled. They have used frequent shopper cards in court against people for alcohol consumption records. What else could they use them for? Think about using cash so they do not track your purchses.

Yes...don't get the chip...says in the Bible that you will need this mark to "buy or sell goods" Isn't that what the chip will be used for...hmmm

You've misread Revelation. It isn't a prophecy of the future, it's the story of what was happening 2000 years ago.

The Antichrist would have to take over and make peace with Israel - becoming the one-world governor.

Once the Antichrist takes over, he can implement Verichips and what have you.

The technology exists, but who knows when the Antichrist will make peace with Israel. Perhaps never....
