Well I've been talking/seeing this guys for a few weeks now. We text most of the time and he calls a few times. But there are many times like spans of days (about 3-4) when he seems to disappear(not answer his phone or respond to a text) and then reappears. He says he's busy, but I don't understand why it takes days just to answer a simple text. I know he told me he was busy getting ready for his friend's wedding (he's the best man) and can't be there 100% (his words), but is it too much to expect an answer from a text or just a simple call saying hey or something. The wedding is just around the corner, so I'm thinking I'll try and be a patient person til then, but after the wedding if he continues to act in the same way, I don't think I can see him anymore. Am I just being too much of an impatient person or is his behavior atypical guy? Guys I'd really really really like to know your psychie and viewpoint on why he acts like this. Thanks.

No, this is not common for most guys. But he also may not know he is doing it, so kindly bring it to his attention that if he wants to remain as close as you are now, you'd like more regular communication. See how he responds to that open request. That will tell you more than "time" or waiting 'til after the wedding.

He doesn't care.He just keeps you around as an extra option in case he has nothing better to do.When someone cares he is all over you.Sorry.We have all been there.NEXT.
