I do have doubts, but not in God. Let me try to explain.
I have a tendancy to attempt to do everything on my own. I don't wait for God. I don't ask for His help or direction. I see something that needs done, and I jump in and get it done (usually). I call this the Peter syndrom because he had the same problem. At times I am unable to accomplish the task, and then I am forced to rely on God. But, through it all, I have no doubt in God. I know that His will will be accomplished.
I do have doubts, though. These doubts come as a result of not knowing what God's will is. I know that whatever God decides is best will happen. But, when a friend is dying of cancer, and I pray for his healing, I don't know that that is God's will. At times, because God can see the whole picture, He knows that it is best that a person not be healed on this side of Heaven. I, however, cannot know that. So, the doubt I have is in myself. God has the power to do whatever He choses, but I do not always have the power to know what that choice is.
As for encouragement, I'll leave you with this thought. Just like a muscle, faith is strengthened through exercise. As a Christian ages and grows, his faith is tested. That testing is the exercise that strengthens his faith. It is not uncommon for young Christians to have doubts and questions and fears. But, as that Christian grows, he learns that God is trustworthy. We know that intellectually, but it takes the testing to prove it. Most people need to learn that God is 100% trustworthy through experiance.
I would suggest that you read the book of Acts. Also, read stories about missionaries. See how these people learned to trust in God. Many times, we can experiance God in this way. But, in the end, we learn to trust God by the testing of our faith. A thoughtful and prayerful look at James chapter 1 should be helpful, also.

if you are a virgin you can receive a wife from the lord. Sex is very spiritual and when 2 mate they become one flesh. So if you are joined already to one or many, all God will see is a defiled person. Even if you are saved by grace, he will not add another to your body. With that said, if you are not a virgin and are suffering with loneliness that is Gods punishment for the sin of lust you committed against him. If you are a Virgin, seek God like I do and ask for heaven and to know his ways. In time that suffering will find joy if you earnestly seek God for his kingdom to be added unto you. if you are suffering for the sin you did of lust, I am sorry, Pray for forgiveness and seek Gods mercy that he will not suffer you with desire anymore. Maybe God is not finished spanking you yet. personally, why don't you just go out and get a woman if you are not a Virgin, What is wrong with you? Chk online dating, do whatever it takes if you are burded with a slave sex drive. God blessed you with marriage, but he will not answer your desire for the flesh and this 10 min world that will pass away.

sometimes i feel like this.....
The sky is deep, the sky is dark
The light of stars is so damn stark.
When I look up, I fill with fear
If all we have is what lies here.
This lonely world, this troubled place
Then cold dead stars and empty space.
Well, I see no reason to persevere
No reason to laugh or shed a tear.
No reason to sleep or ever to wake
No promises to keep, and none to make.
And so at night I still raise my eyes
To study the clear but mysterious skies
That arch above us as cold as stone.
Are you there, God? Are we alone?
The Book of Counted Sorrows
sometimes, i feel like this....
When you come to the edge of all the light you know,
and are about to step off into the darkness of the unknown,
faith is knowing one of two things will happen:
There will be something solid to stand on,
or you will be taught how to fly.

No, I trust God with all the life I have in me. I don't trust most of the living though. If you look back in your life you will see that God has given you signs of what to do in life. It's just up to you to follow the sign. Remember everything in life is a test to see if we can pass it. Have faith in God & faith in yourself.

There are times that when my life isn't going exactly perfect to my plan that I find myself wondering is he there helping me? But everyone has to realize that God is there and he is able to help each and everyone. Every thing that happens, happens for a reason, no we probably don't see it and we probably never will but God knows and wants us to Trust him and put our faith in him. I do trust him and put my faith in him but yes I am human and will falter sometimes.

Of course it is hard to trust in God because trust depends on faith. And I believe we (or almost (?) everybody) lack in faith.
Has anybody moved a mountain yet by faith? "If you had faith the size of a mustard seed..."
We must grow in faith by doing "the will of the Father who is in heaven".
To do that we must practice compassion and forgiveness. Then our faith - and trust in God - can grow. Don't worry we will not be able to become perfect on our own. That where Christ's sacrice comes in!

I don't have a hard time trusting/believing God for others: i.e. answering my prayers for them… & I have seen many, many great things happen in answer to those prayers!!
But for some reason: I do at times: have trouble trusting/believing for myself… but that is due to having ‘Trust’ issues anyway, lol!!
But that is where ‘Faith’ comes in!! All Christians have there times of ‘Doubt’ & ‘Worry’… even Jesus himself: questioned & partitioned his father!!
God always answers prayer: & always keeps His promises: and will ‘Never, Never, Never’ let you down!!
But He does not always answer prayer in the way ‘We’ would wish, or hope for: or in ‘Our’ timescale either!! Just as a loving earthly father, will not always give his child what he/she wants, when he/she wants it… Sometimes: God says ‘Wait’ to… and then He gives us what we need… which is not always what we want!!
Keep in the word… keep in prayer … keep in fellowship with likeminded people… and most of all… KEEP YOUR FAITH!!
Jesus LOVES YOU!! He knows your strengths and your weaknesses… He is there for you: for both!!
Remember the poem ‘Footprints’… when the person looked back over the years of her life… during the most difficult and turbulent times she saw only one set of footprints in the sand… she questioned God about this… “Lord you said you would never leave or forsake me, but look: during the most difficult and turbulent times of my life: there is only one set of footprints in the sand”!! The Lord replied: “ My precious, precious child: I would never leave you nor forsake you: when you see only one set of footprints: it was then that ‘I CARRIED YOU’”!!
God bless my friend xoxo

well i mean it is kinda hard to trust him with all that is going on in the world but you have to keep on trusting him because it is a good thing to do. i am also a young Christian and sometimes it is hard to stay focus on him because of all the distraction that is out there in the world. but what i have to do sometimes is just ask him to help me with staying focus on him and i think that if you ask him to help trust him i know that he will.

Why wouldn't you trust your closest friend?
God is your dearest friend, your closest companion. Once God had an idea that he thought was so lovely, so perfect that he did not want to be without it. God loved this idea that he had so much that she thought a part of herself to have enough individuality to see it’s self as separate, as a unit, as an individual as you. God did this so that he might have you to love and so that she might have you to love her. This is the only truth of you and it will never change.
Understand how special this makes each and every one of us to God. This is why God loves each and every one of us unconditionally. Unconditional means no conditions are necessary. No hoops that we need to jump through to keep God loving us. No silly ideas of judgment or punishment or hell just love.
This is what God means to me. This is perfect faith in god’s love for us. Anything else is halfhearted partial faith. You really need to decide if you really have faith in God, or if you just kind of have a little faith in God. The later is what most people have.
Love and blessings
