Ok. Well first off, I took a shower last night. And then this morning I straightened my hair, and now its starting to get greasy. Can someone please explain why this happens? And how it can be avoided? I use Tresemme`

Okay, oil flows down straight hair much easier than it does wavy or curly hair. That's why curly haired people usually have dryish hair.

what kind of straighting products do you use? do you use a lot? when condition do you put it on you whole head? only put your conditioner and products mid shaft down. put your hair in a ponytail the hair that's hanging out is what you should be putting ever thing on.
and try using less of these products and maybe us a clarifying shampoo for the build up but make sure to condition after the clarifying because clarifying shampoos strip everything from your hair including moisture. but don't add on a bunch of product or you'll be in the same greasy mess!

umm i would rinse out ur conditioner more thoroughly and if that dosnt work the next day u can always put some talcom powder on ur brush and brush it through ur hair. or u cna just condition ur ends of ur hair. or u can condition ur hair every other day.

Try not to moisturize it every night. Your hair may just have to much oil in it. I know mine is like that.

Condition the ends at night not the scalp. or maybe too much conditioner

do you comb your hair w/ ur fingers? b/c that can make ur hair greasy!
