I'm just standing up for God. Can you say the same?

Are you jealous because we are God's chosen? Or is it because we are smarter and better looking than the rest of you? Is it because we are pillars in our communities and stand against drug users and sodomites? Is it because we are captains of industry and your teachers and lawyers and politicians?

Why can't you people just accept us for who we are, God's chosen ones?

It's mainly because they're so ignorant and arrogant (as your "question" so clearly demonstrates), a combination that is certain to get insults and hatred from the respectable part of the population.

On top of that, Christians now have a terrifying amount of control here in the United States, and seem hell-bent on destroying everything that once made this country the greatest nation. Sure, there are other groups that are even more ignorant and arrogant, but they have no power, while the Christians, as a group, are clearly the biggest threat to the United States. So, yes, it is because they're "captains of industry" and teachers and lawyers and politicians. A country with people that childish in those positions is in deep trouble.

Interestingly, such "hatred" should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:

(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.

(Luke 6:22) Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.

(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.

God's chosen ones? Isn't that the rant that the Jews have created their brand of racism with. Menacham Began claiming that they are the master race sure has endeared them to the rest of the world. You seem to serve the forces of evil with this junk.

I don't think people have the capabilities to understand those things with human capacity,...Remember the story of Jesus and the disciples and He asked to them,"who do you think that I am"? and after they all responded Jesus told Peter,"you are blessed because God in Heaven has showed you this".
As far as being persecuted, its comes with the territory !, but...

If you are a "smarter and better looking" one, then God really has a design flaw with his so called chosen people.

Ever hear the phrase, "You can dish it out, but you can't take it"? Christian fundamentalists have been on the attack for years now, trying to deny rights to homosexuals, trying to outlaw abortions, trying to keep women from obtaining equal rights, and trying to impose their own morals - many of them non-biblical - on the rest of society. Non-Fundamentalists are finally fighting back by speaking out against their campaigns, their media onslaughts, and their mistaken notions of truth, and the Fundamentalists don't like it very much. They can dish it out, but they can't take it. So when people of good conscience stand up for their rights, Fundamentalists cry foul - they claim they are being persecuted.

I am lost. You asked a question regarding Christians, yet you are spreading your Jewish racism. I got news for you, the Jews are no better. Perhaps you should see what the Reformed Jews stance is on homosexuality, immorality, the soul, the Messiah, kosher, and resurrection? They are no different than radically liberal Christians who try to conform their religious beliefs on what society seems acceptable.

Be good.

It's your holier-than-thou attitude problem not the fact that you are Christian. I personally don't care if you worship God, Buddha, or a great big purple dinosaur...that's your choice...just stop acting like your better than everyone else.
