Timber waste, sawdust and shavings are used in steam distillation to extract the oil needed.

the wood must be heated and the oil pressed out, you don't have access to a press that has enough tonnage to ex-trace the oil from ceder!

I believe they syeam it and press it or squeeze betwwen rollers. google cedar oil in texas and see what you find.
