My advise is get a life and a real boyfriend (when you're older). I mean I think its better having an imaginary boyfriend than meeting someone on runescape (for those of you who don't see the humor in this Runscape is an online game with like castles and knights and all... adorable isn't it.). Ya,.. you guys can be friends and all but I don't think that you can be considered boyfriend and girlfriend. I mean that's just insulting to people who have real bf and gf.

First of all you are too young to have a boy friend. And if he lives in another state then technically he isnt a boyfriend at all just a friend that you like.

Second you should tell your parents that you have a pen pal. tell them that he says that you are boyfriend and girlfriend and that you really like him. But stress to them that you only talk to each other and nothing else. Since you are so young they might not have anything to say about you having a friend that just happens to be a boy in another state.

And you never know if you are honest with them from the beginning instead of hiding it from them they may even let you continue talking to him until you are really old enough to date for real.
