And they usually say that a cat is carry on, than can you or can't you bring your pet on board?

Last I checked they were saying you have to bring the small pet as carry on, not in the hold. Plus if you know is it still free or you have to pay extra now?

some airlines would ONLY allow pets as luggage that had to be "checked in" and they would ride along with the cargo. SOME would let you take them on as carry-ons...but now who knows what the procedure is. Also, I have always known people to have to pay to fly their pets..never heard of it being free.

Sorry, I have no idea. I think it would be because if a cat is carry on luggage then it would be considered the same as your baggage and other stuff.

Suicide cat bombers---I can see it now. Explosives strapped to innocent cats and dogs by terrorist nutcases. A stick of TNT shoved up a doggies butt. If the dog or cat gets blown up on a suicide mission does the dog or cat also get 70 virgins when they go to pet heaven?

Airport screeners--watch for dogs that bark or cats that meeow with foreign accents!!!!
