I am the oldest of three, and now I have three daughters of my own. I love my family - but, yes they can be annoying. Both my siblings and my children:) Anytime you are in close proximity to people that you are very similar to yet very different from there will occasionally be fireworks. But, the good outweighs the bad by a long shot, and I cannot imagine life as an only child. Even if I would not have had to let my younger sisters sleep in my room because they were scared... Every night..... Both of them......And they wet the bed.......:)

Long moved from home, but I'm the eldest. I have a brother. We were six years apart and that was far enough to not have alot in common (when I was going to high school, he was still in grade school).
But being oldest, we can have the upper hand in most arguments. Don't you agree? If you've done your job, you've laid the groundwork with the parents (trust, etc.) for getting your way most times. At least, I think I did.
Don't worry. One day your siblings will catch up with you and you'll be friends.

I am the oldest of 4 as well ... Growing up we weren't too close; maybe we were too close in age to be close; who knows. Now that we're all adults with our own families we are closer than ever. And of course, we can still get on eachothers' nerves, but that's nothing. It's usually quickly forgotten. I love them all to death!

i am 34 now... but yes, i was the oldest of three children. i have two younger brothers. i am 4 years older than one brother and 7 years older than the last brother. i hated them growing up, and i still do. i MIGHT see them on accident once a year.

I am the middle. I have four brothers, no sisters. My oldest and second to the youngest brothers are a pain in my butt, but i still love them.

acaully iam da oldest of 4 kids!! im 20 an they do annoy!! but u cant stop loving dem!! but at times u feel luk killing dem!! :P but itz a very sweet thing 2 love ur sibling so much!

I am the baby, there are four of us...we all get along ok, but yes they annoy me a lot of the time. I love them very much, but man do we have our issues...lol I guess that is what makes us so much fun!!
