Is a good way of puting it.
Blind Faith is not a way I live my life. I do not blindly just put my money in a plate at a building thinking it is going to god. I know they say it is going to good use but I feel deep inside it is really going to keep the wine celler at the preachers house full and to put gas in his limo and to pay the payments on his million dollar home.
Sorry I trust the used car sales man more. At lest I can open the hood or look at the frame and the milage and make up my mind if it is 40,000 miles or 140,000 miles.

Wow, ramblings,... again....
Ok
Priests can trusted when comfortable with. Faith and life.
Comfortable in Faith yes. expected, no it is mandatory.
Fashion. You are way off in left field. No relation to your "mechanism"We come and leave this earth with nothing.Do not miss the point there. It is a fact.
Unverifiable? Not a chance. Contradictions come from the weak minded trying to impress the real in the know people.
Hope I made that easy for you.
God Bless.

I think you're asking why do I believe if there is no "empirical" proof, is that correct? You know, it's interesting. When Thomas was skeptical about the stories that Christ was risen, he said, unless I see Jesus, unless I put my hand in the wounds, I will not believe." Of course, when Jesus appeared to him, Thomas dropped to his knees and said, "my Lord and my God." Jesus responded, "you see and believe, but blessed are they who do not see, and yet believe".
My faith isn't blind at all. I have spent many, many years reading and studying the bible, thinking about the things I read. Seeing them proven true and worthy of my faith over and over again. I believe more in the things unseen, the things of God, and His promises, than I do in this earth which is day by day, passing away.
There is a verse, "God is not man that He should lie". When you come to know the character of God, you do have that kind of solid faith in Him. Unlike people who do lie to you, for their own agenda.

Those things you are talking about are mostly human qualities and your faith should be in God ! I think you need to learn about origins of certain religions and beliefs and maybe you will better discern what comes from man and what comes from God.
I hope you dont get offended at what im saying but the truth is, theres a lot of confusion today about what is what and where it comes from. So the best way to understand things is to have a desire to learn more about them !
God didnt want for us,and doesnt want you to be confused, honest he dont !

Used car salesmen are not God. God is not out for money, only for you to live worthy of returning to him. There are no paid clergy in my church. They do what God calls them to do because it is what God wants them to do. They work just like everyone else to support their families, and yes I trust them. I have never given a tinker's hoot about fashion. People who do are too worried about what others think, when it's what God thinks that counts. That God, God's will, Christ and our whole purpose for being here on this earth has not been verified to you, is only because you are not willing to do that which is necessary for it to be verified to you. It has been verified to me and many others. This is the problem with non believers. They don't understand, only because they are so dead set against understanding that they are unwilling to open there eyes and unstop their ears.

That's simple. I don't trust priests. They are almost all pedophiles. I only trust Christian used car salesmen.
Other than that, I have no idea what the hades you are saying here. Sounds like a bunch of psychobabble to me.

Not at all. I don't recall God or Jesus trying to sell anything. It's the old apple and oranges theory all over again.

LOL!
Good point!
They mistrust someone who's only selling them a car, but when it comes to someone who tells them about heaven and hell, they swallow every ounce of pap fed to them.
