Cutting what? Cutting class? cutting your arm? What? The navy is for grown ups, its not high school or a sleep over. You work for them and they depend on each and every person to pull their own weight.

Everyone who says you need help is correct - it is a major mental problem. I'm guessing they have put you through the medical boards now (or they will), and you will be medically discharged. Maybe you can get some help there. If the cutting started after you were in the Navy, then you have an injury (psychological) claim and the Navy should compensate you for your disability, as well as make sure you get the proper care.

cutting is a sign of mental disease or instability. the Military is NO place for someone with issues, and they can best be helped by being released from their contract.
The military is not inthe business of coddling individuals. The Needs of the military and the overall mission capability of the team is paramount.

It is very dangerous so no they should not give you a warning. Get out of the navy! People don't want to see that their heros are cutters (sets a VERY bad influence)

Yes it is fair, when you sign on the dotted line believe it or not but you become government property. If destroy or deface any other government property and get caught you get punished. So in a sense you are defacing government property.

No, it's a sign of a serious mental disorder. The military doesn't play around when it comes to mental issues. You should be gone right away.

No..when a person is cutting themselves that means that they are very stupid. Why the hell do you cut yourself, what does that accomplish. I'll tell you what it accomplishes: absolutely nothing. Anyone that does that should be shot.

No, I think once is a pretty fair thing. They don't need people who have such deep emotional issues. They are, after all, trying to win a war and kill people.
