most polls and surveys are BS! For every poll or survey that shows you one thing, I can find one to say the opposite. You have millions of people living in an area and they poll 1000 at the most to base an opinion. Not very representative to me.

Polls are never completely accurate but most polls that are well done have a "margin of error" specified by their publishers. Generally speaking the margin of error is worked out using the results of previous similar polls with the same sorts of questions and the same sort of answer.

To work this out the pollsters can compare poll results to actual results. For example, they compare the result of say their election poll to the actual election result and record how much different their poll was to the actual result.

Polls may be inaccurate because of bad wording, a bad polling target audience or other factors. However using the specified margin of error it is usually possible to work out what the public really feels.

Problems is, many media groups which publish polls do not include a margin of error specification and I wouldn't be surprised if some media groups were actually manipulating poll results.

Well, if you take statistics, you'll find how they can accurtately test a population's response with only a few thousand people sample.

I would like to see how they handle the most recent, last 10 years or so, demographics they follow, since US citizens are moving within regions so much more than in the past, and the fact that many people no longer have a public phone number, only cell phones.

With that said, I do agree with answers to polls.

It would depend on the poll and if there is a qualified statistician with a qualified sampling, there is no limiting my doubt in it. I took statistics and high school and college and know that you can get a correct answer from a couple thousand people from a city of millions if you do it right. It has been proven. Michelle is wrong.

Hey the princess is really smart do not insult her. She is really smart. Look at her new info. She is a very tallented lady. She is a great example of a really great white woman. She wants to show her white lovely ness. Snow white is beautiful. She must have some white babies. She is prime KKK material I sure hope she joins.

I suspect any poll taken for publication. If the questions asked are not reported, I tend to believe they are deliberately biased. Polls taken for internal use tend to be very accurate. Tradesports.com allows people to literally 'put their money where their mouth is' and has proven extremely accurate.

Not very high. In 2000 according to the polls Gore was going to win hands down, and he lost. In 04 Hanoia John Kerry was going to mop the floor with Bush, and of course, he lost. Polls are the Liberal media's way of expressing what they want to happen, and not what is the actual reality of things.

They're for fun only, occasional they might usually represent something close to an actually poll but logically it depends on who answers the questions.lol

Low if it's not accredited.. Extremely high if it's accredited AND certified by an organization I'm familiar with.

Such as the Gallup Poll.. I used to work for them by the way... I follow their stats.. And use them frequently.
