How can we as society stop this crueslty on dogs? We must do something!!! The dogs are our best friends doesn't anyonecare? In some countries they are eating OUR BEST FRIENDS!!!

wish i knew the answer..i have 2 dogs, and i love them so much. they are my babies!!! i don't see how anybody could hurt something so loving and sweet.

Some people have cows or chickens as pets and we still eat them....if other countries find dog meat good, then thats a good way to cut down on unwanted dogs since most people arent smart enough to fix their pets.
Also look at India, they probably think we are cruel because we eat beef

They all so eat cats. We eat chickens and some people keep them as pets. We eat pork and pigs are pets. Same with horses, ducks, rabbits, snakes, fish. Some where in the world someone eats an animal that someone else thinks of it as a friend. There is nothing we can do about it.

I think the abuse starts from ignorance, and generation after generation it keeps going. Children learn this in the home watching their dumb **** parents abusing animals. I sometimes wonder if grammar schools could implement just a small week lesson on how to treat animals- would the abuse rate lower? It seems like it would if you could get to the kids that don't know any better. I don't know if that would ever be allowed but it would be nice.

Got news for you Gucci....Certain cultures have been eating dog since your distant ancestors were squatting in mud huts and picking at themselves.
In Viet Nam dog is considered very edible. Native American tribes ate dog. As do many other cultures.

well yea its food to them. I mean in the US we eat what is a god to another country....
It may seem odd to you but it IS a source of food that is widely available. They breed dogs to eat. We breed cows to eat. Whats the difference? Yea sure we keep dogs as pets...but again...in another country they see the cow as a god

I hear ya... And I care. There's not much we can do about other countries culture. But one of the only things we can do here in the US is report animal abuse and stop these jerks from doing it again.

animals serve a purpose, different countries/cultures different purpose, we eat cow indians do not, we eat crabs jews do not, others eat monkey we do not, etc.
take care of your pat and make sure it can NOT reproduce

It's horrible to say but that is the circle of life. Until no one eats meat then it will continue to happen, that is the saddist part of it.

why are you so up tight? people eat cows,sheep, horses, chickens, goats, hogs! why not dogs? there just another meat source!
