Women are thought to be more aural (all the dumb perverts can look it up). This is why men are constantly telling women what they think we want to hear. Women are brainwashed through fairy tales and other tales of happily ever after to believe in some knight in shining armor and the "perfect" man.
Women are blamed for the moral, physical and lapses a man has in a romantic relationship. Women as a whole need to become more visual and stop believing all that crap.

Women are visual creatures too, but we take in more than just looks when evaluating a man. Does he have good manners, can he carry on a reasonably intelligent conversation, etc., etc. Men have higher levels of testosterone than women, which makes them more easily aroused sexually, that's the basic difference.
