This is one of those issues called doubtful disputations.
Romans 14:5 "One man esteemeth one day above another; another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind."
Romans 14:6 "He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord , he doth not regard it.
This is a difficult call and can create division as in a whole new denomination, wonderful people who keep Saturday instead of Sunday.
Let each man be persuaded in his own mind and keep faith before God....not judging one another.
Galatians 4: 9-11 "But now,after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God,how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years, I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labor in vain.

this "forever" was dependant on the obedience of the Israelites.
Deut.29:24 yes, all the nations will be bound to say, ‘Why did Jehovah do like this to this land? The dead do not know time, but we revolve around it. You woke up at a certain time, this we can understand. But the dead only understand eternity, never ending. This is something we wont know till after death.
