I don't believe in organized religion. It's full of empty rituals, and the spirituality of belief has been replaced by flawed human control. I consider my self a Christian, but I don't go to church or anything like that. Basically, I've removed the middle man and go directly to the source.

I have only been on a solitary path for 4 years. Prior to that I was non-practicing because I did not feel comfortable in an organized setting. 4 years ago I decided not to let organized religion separate me from my spirituality and have been blissfully happy ever since.

*Chuckles* Consider this- The Apostle Paul flat out wrote "Do not forsake the assembly on the first day of the week". Yet how many christians are simply pew warmers rather than "hands on" christians?
A wise christian man has the ability to hear the Holy Spirit speak. The bible says the Holy Spirit speaks in a very soft, quiet voice.
I can't hear it- I've tried, many many times. I can ALMOST make out the words- kinda like listening to a conversation between a group of people thru a room's wall. The voices are muffled, quiet, confusing- its baffeling! Its irritating! To know you can ALMOST hear God and the Son talking,,and never quit make it.

I do believe in Solitary Practice.
In fact i do not believe in going to church really. For I feel i do not need a Human being such as myself to guide me to Jesus. i think in that just believing anyone would be on the right track.

I honestly think organized religion is more trouble than it's worth.
ANYONE with a brain can understand what their religious writings are saying, and how it's appropriate to live through them. You don't need a church to tell you that.

As a Christian, I believe God wants us to gather with other Christians to worship Him and learn from each other, but I also believe He wants us to spend personal time with Him - studying the Bible and praying..
Peace
