I'm not bashing on anyone or their religion. I don't care what your religion is, tell me why I should believe you over reason or anything else. If it has to do with blind faith, that doesn't count because your faith and everyone else's has no bearing on my life at all. I don't want to hear how it will make me happier, I don't care, I only care about the truth. If you are going to give a quote from your religious text then you better back it up because without backing evidence it is just religious propaganda and I don't care who they say wrote the book because I didn't see them write it.

If you think that an ancient piece of a boat a flood evidence proves it then think about how this proves your religion and not just a localized flood and a piece of a boat. I really want to hear a reason why I should have religion. Personal experience is hard to accept because you could be lying, crazy, or just perceived it totally wrong because of hopefulness.

You don't have to believe anything you don't want to. But I'm happy that you are willing to search to see if the truth can be explained to you.
A religion cannot give you the assurance of happiness, but if you are a true believer, it can give you peace and hope. With these things, you achieve happiness. If I have to explain my religion to you, Islam, it would take abit of time. From you and me. If you are truly willing to know more, you can contact me. It would be my pleasure. And I would request the same from you, no insults.
I can just tell you that according to Islam, life is a test. And it is not meant to be easy. But after every hardship there is ease. With knowledge, comes faith, with faith comes hope and with hope comes happiness.
Hope to hear from you. :)

This, Dan, is a very difficult question for me to answer. The truth is, I'm a "Baby Christian" meaning I haven't been following God's ways for long. I really don't know everything about the world, I don't know very much at all. All I know is before I let Jesus into my life I was lost. I was bouncing off of different beliefs and dabbling with things way beyond my understanding. I'm not going to tell you that you will be happier as a Christian. Jesus commands us to "take up our cross daily and follow Him" That's a hard thing to do willingly. There aren't many religions that ask you to take a burdon upon yourself. I know that someday my burdon will be completely lifted. For now all I can do is pray that God helps me not give into temptation. I'm not going to offer you the tired diatribes that seem to circulate so much. I ask you only to think about what you do and don't believe and why. If you are anything like me you will realize that the things you didn't believe were stubborness and the things you did were based on your need to fill your life with something, anything. The only thing I had left after this evaluation was God. Without God I had no hope, faith or love. Of all these things, love was what I longed for the most. It is not placed on my heart to "convince" you with clever arguments that I am right. I am only a human so my ideas could have faults. God is the only one who knows everything. It is my job to plant seeds as God asks. All I can do is pray that God will put the right words in my mouth to reach you. God works in all our lives but it is our part to come to Him. I pray that you find the answer that you are looking for. God bless you.

According to Kant, a German philosopher, , there is a moral law that defines what is right or wrong. However, someone can live his/her whole life in accordance with that moral law, while on earth, and be screwed over by the rest of humanity - for instance, someone that will always tell the truth could be taken advantage of by other. If they get screwed over by obeying the moral law then they probably won't be happy while on earth. However, happiness is the goal of everyone. It is the only thing that people want because of what it is and nothing else. Kant argues that God must exist because he is the only one that can reward someone's acting in accordance with moral law and make it so in the end they will have the highest good, true happiness. So it's morally necessary to postulate the existance of God and an immortal soul.

Now, if God exists, then one religion must be correct. It's your job to find out which one is the right one. You can only do this if you ask the omnipotent, omnipresent God to show you the right way. Religion is God's way for teaching the moral law and helping one prepare to receive his highest good, true happiness.

Jesus told us to go and teach the world about the Good News. If you see the truth in what I say about God and his love, or see enough truth to investigate Christianity further, mission accomplished.

If you see no merit in my arguements, there is no point in going further. I can only pray that God will draw you to Himself, and I'll be there to lead you to saving knowledge of His love.

you shouldnt believe any one!!
you should listen to your heart!
and your heart shall guide you..
Be true to your self,, think of the world around you,, has it a creator? or it comes out of the blue?
look at yourself in a mirror,, your perfect face shape and that ear perfectly designed to hear, your eyes, which were made two to let you see 3-d things, and......., and.....
lots of things in and around you that makes you think and rethink...
are there a god or many gods or there is none?
a god who is all-capable and needs nothing but all of creatures need him?
or there is a god who needs a family and a wife, and many Gods controls the world, one thinks it's better to make a thing and the other think that it's better to do the opposite,, so ?!!
Again ,,, your heart shall guide you!!
Read but be true to your self and find good sources for your readings..
I suggest some:

And wait...
Dont believe me...
Believe what shall your heart tells you!!

Who do you think really cares if or what you believe? ;-)
If someone can and does give me proof (on something I am at all interested in), I am willing to listen. Everything else is a waste of time.

I can't ask you to believe anything.
Change has to come from within. If you are not capable of that then I really grieve for you.
If you didn't see them write it then you may have major problems with a lot of other literary works.

It's up to you, not me. You have to start the process by accepting and receiving

Good luck and God Bless.

Are you Happy? Jesus said ; 'Happy are those who do not see, yet believe.'

I do not support your having any religion, just the true one. I'm sure if you ask God, which one it is, He will show you.

IF YOU'RE A CLOSED MINDED PERSON, YOU ARE IGNORANT. I AM RELIGIOUS BUT MY MIND IS ALWAYS OPEN BECAUSE I'M AFTER THE TRUTH, NOT PRIDE.
