Well, you know you are in love when you feel more special than usual, when he makes you smile just by thinking of him, when you look forward to hearing from him and seeing you again, when you look into his eyes and you feel this harmony you don't feel in any other situation, when you have no interest whatsoever in all the other guys, etc.

And you know the person is 'the one' after a LONG while.

I suppose it's your first boyfriend/girlfriend. My advice is: Take things SLOW even if you think everything is going smoothly. And in due time you'll see if s/he's the one for you or not.
