It is religion, at it's worst.

Any religion, that seeks to kill anyone who is not part OF them, is not of God...whether it be the Muslim Jihad, Catholic Inquisition, or whatever.

Muslims are just like any other cult, they indoctrinate from birth. But, the indoctrination they use is promises of heaven through the hatred for all others, which after generations, brings us to what we see happening before us.

My question to them is...how can you follow the teachings of men who hide and do not do or follow the same things they ask you to do???

Christianity, in it's truest form, is not about religion, it is about a personal relationship with God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It seeks to bring people to the Lord, and never have we been given "holy instruction" to kill those who would refuse.

I think Islam is for the most part a peaceful religion, but there are crazy's out there that just want to hurt others for there disbelief(like in all religions). People who read religious writtings far too much are the ones who get the crazy ideas. If the middle east countries would just lets everyone live the way they want to then the world would be a peaceful place, but now we have this odd little Iranian president that seems to sound like he is bent on destroying followers of other faiths.

I believe Islam is a false religion with a false god and a false prophet. I also believe that in the end times...Islam is going to figure on a very large scale. It will be a dark hand moving across the face of the earth at some point in time.

I think Islamic Religion is another form of seeking God.We all seek God in finding the truth about our self.

It is not our choice to point the finger as to who the real God is or religion. The truth will speak for itself and so as God. What He wanted us to do is to share love and help one another. Not deciding who the real God is, that is Gods job to reveal Himself through the love we share.

The problem that creates war through this religion belief, its because we spend time judging the right religion. I believe in Jesus Christ the Son of God and He is the Lord of All and the Muslim believe in Allah.

Therefore, I believe sharing love and respect is what Jesus said " The world will know that you are my disciple if you love one another". He did not say go and judge other religion.
Not only that, when Jesus sum up all the law in the Bible, he said " Love your neighbor as you love yourself." Where there is hate show love and mercy, these are the message I belive. As a Christian, I believe God does not need me to tell the Muslim person your religion is this or that. All He requires for me to do is to show love, and He do the rest.

So, the problem with the mentioned faith, each one is fighting for the proof of their belief. People read people from a religion not the book or belief they preach. And that makes religion a dangerous institution because of the people who twisted those books or Gods name to fit their cause.

cheers

Well, I just give it no credence whatsoever, and here's why: Muslims say that they follow both the Bible and the Koran, yet they deny that Christ was crucified. In addition, Revelations (not sure of the exact verse, but I think it's 18) warns against adding or taking away from the words of the Bible. Clearly, the Koran is an addition, so I completely reject it as much as I would reject The Book of Mormon. So there ya go.....

I am a Christian too. I am one who thinks that Muslims are pretty much just like the rest of us...broken people who need redemption. As I understand the religion of
Islam (and I realize that I view it through filters that may cast it in an inaccurate light), there is a belief in one God, Allah, and the way to be in favor with Allah is through submission/obedience to his law. I know many a person who profess Christianity trying to be reconcilled in exactly the same way...through works. It's a difficult problem, accepting the free gift of grace - being made righteous through Christ's righteousness alone. It goes against our nature to really really believe that we cannot save ourselves. I believe that is the trap into which Muslim people have fallen...the very one Christians struggle with as well.

Another thing about Islam (again I realize I may misunderstand their beliefs and am open to correction, please), is that the god they obey is not a personal one. Ours God is a God of love who wants a personal relationship with each and every one of those whom He have called to Himself. I have not heard Muslims speak of living for eternity in intimate relationship with Allah. So for me, I believe Christianity to be the religion that best reflects the fullness of the triune God (one God in three persons) and our intended relationship to Him.

As for the Islamic people, I have no problem with them. There are fringe elements, just as there are in Christianity. I am exceedingly sorry that that fringe element creates such chaos in the world and I do wish that more Muslims would speak out against radicalism in the Islamic faith. Specifically, I wish that Muslim clerics would show positive leadership to the world in the form of public pronouncements condemning violence against the west. It would go such a long way toward peaceful coexistance.

Grace and the peace of Christ to you.
