i agree...things to ask about are this...
HAV, HBV or HCV (regardless of "risk factors or not")
Auto-Immune Hepatitis
Gallbladder, but usually when this goes, there is something amiss with the liver in more cases than previously thought.
Some sort of intestinal issue going on, or even kidney's.
I wish you both well...good luck!

That is a sign of Jaundice and I wouldn't be waiting for Monday for him to be seen. Usually it is related to the liver - or something having a chain reaction. Gotta find out what is causing it.
When I started turning yellow...my liver enzymes where over 1000. I spent 6 days in the hospital over it. Turned out it was a bile stone. I didn't realize how close I was to death.

Um, you should have taken him to the ER as soon as you noticed this. Yes it is Jaundice and yes it's related to his liver. Is he a baby still? Why are you waiting around? He needs to be seen immediately, you don't mess around when it comes to the liver. Liver failure can come on rapidly.

I have worked in the medical field for over 30 years. think that you are on the right track. It is probably some type of liver or gall bladder disease. You need to get him into the DR or the ER as soon as possible. Some of those types of things can be life threatening. Good luck

It sounds like Jaundice. My son also had jaundice, (but not that bad). The pediatrician informed me to take him outside for awhile to get sun, (with only wearing a diaper), good luck!

How old is he, does he itch, is his skin yellow, and how many carrots or yellow vegetables does he eat?? I had a friend with a toddler who would only eat yellow vegetables like carrots so that is all he got and he turned yellow as did the whites of his eyes...
So really it is two different issues...but a doctor will clear ir up(no pun intended)
