Well i put this question in here because i thought a lot more girls would be here to help me. Ok so i think i like my bros best friend? The catch is im a fraternal twin and hes my bros best friend. Ive known him since kindergarden and it wasnt till 6th grade that i started to really like him.I'm now going into 9th grade and dont know what to do. Hes very nice and at times shy (except when hes with my bro) Hes a huge redneck which is fine because im into the strong type...hes not stupid or anything. Anyway hes always at my house with my bro and we never really talk. The only time we talk is the when its him, me, and my bro in school. I got the guts to call him for the first time last nightand it was a pleasant convo. My bro found out i called him and kept teasing me that i like him. That is exactly what i am afraid of...having my family kno b/c they would give me h*** b/c this is my first real crush. So i need advise on what to do with my family and how to pursue him. If he talked wit you and had a pleasant convo. then that means that he likes you and nothing to it if he had a choice he would say '' hey i cant talk right now i'm busy''and as long as you get a date or he likes you back then who cares!!!you go girl! if you know he likes you ask him if he wants to go to a movie sometime if he says hes then your in! No problem on making it long hehe, that's good, though you probably could of summed it up a bit. Anyway as for your crush you should really consider if you like him enough, I had the same exact problem when I was 14 years old. When I realized I would rather have him and put up with my family's teasing then I found it was a lot easier to go ask him out. After all teasing is just that, fun and games :) ignore it. If you like him well enough you'll have no problem withstanding a bit of teasing.

then most guys get turned on when the girl plays hard to get so try it and maybe it might show something.
does he spend the night with you're brother?
if so you could try to slip him a note telling him to meet you somewhere in the house (you're room) at like 1 or 2 in the morning so you won't get caught and if things work out then just tell you're family that he asked you out and that they should stop teasing you about it because my mom is always teasing me when a teenage guy walks past (even if he's ugly) but I hope that you got some help from all the people.

I know what you mean.... Don't worry about the teasing, its family and its predicted... Just think of how things will change with your brother.... If you are gunna pursue him... somehow find out if your brother is ok with it. Same with your dad... Brothers are protective of their sisters, as dads are daughters.... so, just make sure you are ALLOWED to have a boyfriend or whatever you want to call it.... (not that permission really can stop you).... but if your brother doesn't want you to, trust me, do not go after him...

well, I say go for it!!! the worst that can happen is he can say no, and its not the end of the world. there are lots of other guys out there!!
As for your family, you cant really do anything about it. family is family, and brothers are always going to tease you! Just dont take the teasing seriously and know that they love you, You'll be fine, sweetie!

Tell him how you really feel, and tell your brother how you feel. if he was your real family he would respect who you like and be considerate of your feelings, most brothers are sensitive about who their sisters like. Just talk ti him.
