Introduction: Well, I don't think 'learn' is the right word there. I think it'd be more appropriate if you asked 'How long does it take to start loving again?' I don't think we ever forget how to love. But well, I know the question is sometimes asked that way, so never mind LOL.
Answer: Ok, seems like you've been hurt. I'm sorry. I do know how it feels. Well, I think that unable-to-love period may range from a couple of months to even years. It's just up to you. It does depend on how deeply you've been 'wounded' (how disappointed and frustrated you've got), but it also depends on the confidence you have on yourself. If you think that anyone else can blind you that way and prevent you from letting them get too deep in your heart when they don't deserve it, then I think it's time for you to take a LONG time off.
Conclusions:
1. Take as much time off as you need to feel confident again. There's no sense in forcing things, they just won't work out.
2. If you have ever been able to love in an unselfish way, no matter how deep you have been hurt, you'll love again. So take it easy and one day you'll meet someone who's worth of you and who'll make this stage become a VERY distant and unimportant memory.

well if you must ask i think i could take a while deppending on how much in love you were the 1st time if i was a lot it could take a lot or even another girl/guy that can show u what ur worth, but then again if you werent that much in love the first time i dont think you will have that many problems.

u wont learn 2 love again until u find someone worth loving again, on average it takes 6 months 2 a year 2 b openminded enough 2 let yourself look 4 someone worth it or even 2 want 2 find someone. good luck and try not 2 look, thats usually when the person appears.

It depends on how much you loved her. It can take a long time if you were in love. You can always find someone to have fun with until your over your last girlfriend.

as long as it takes u to find anotha love. dont let ur experience with one woman define the way u handle the rest of ur relationships. yes u can be caustious but dont think that itll neva happen again. bc it will. ur heart is special just make sure u take things slow the next one might now be the one but u neva know til u take it slow n see what comes of it..now get back out there n see what happens

it just depends on how long the relationship lasted and how much you really cared for that person. the more you cared the longer it takes. was married for 13 years hes already with someone else and were not even divorced yet. me im by myself and plan to be that way for a long while
