If I said I like Italy would everyone like me again?

If I pretended to like the Italian team again, or just accepted their "win" without questioning what they did and kept my mouth shut while they gloated about their "win", would I be popular on this forum again? Because if that's the case, then this forum is a real stupid place, isn't it?

Bitterswtlife: That is exactly what I mean. When Brazil won in 2002, I was heartbroken because I am a Germany fan, but I accepted it because Brazil played fairly and deserved to win. I never questioned Brazil's win, because it was a FAIR win. But this year I cannot accept Italy winning because I can see that they didn't play fairly at all. And that's what bothers me and many other people! We are not being sore losers, we are simply telling the truth, Italy didn't deserve to win, everyone saw their corrupt tactics. That is why we Germany and France fans can't accept Italy's victory, because it just wasn't a fair victory, as many people see. Our teams were the better teams, we just fell victims to cheating and bad luck.

Juventina: You are not one to be talking to me about loyalty, since you are loyal to such a disgrace of a team. The teams I am loyal to play with dignity and honour, not cheap dirty tactics. Why would I even think of supporting a team like the one you support?

I have my own qualms about Italy's performance in the WC.I think the penalty against Australia was EXTREMELY dodgy and I think the game against the US was just messed up on more than one level. If you want to hate me for stating what I think then maybe you need to familiarize yourself with the phrase "free world". I wouldnt let a a bunch of people on an internet forum bully me into changing my opinion.

Its all over, the past is one thing we cant change and the entire WC is in the past. Im not losing sleep over anything that happened in the WC, it was fun to watch, Horaay Italy won, po po po po po po(watever).

In conclusion, I know the narrow minded can be a real vexation, but dont compromise yourself for other people. SO WHAT IF THEY DONT LIKE YOU??

hell no. Every one has the rights to say whatever they want, so why even force yourself of doing it. And sorry to say, but I will never ever support a team like Italy... this country's history is not very glorious ever since the 20th century... I wouldn't want to be call as cheating scumbags b/c that was what a lot of people view (sorry, but include me, too) about the Italian National Football team in WC2006... I agree with Lady_Moonlight, if a team wins honorably then most of the people wouldn't say anything against it (just like Brazil in 2002, they won, and people accepted, included the German fans, like me. and not a lot of people went against their win, b/c they did scored two goals and won by the rules). But it's b/c this year's final was just way too controversial and events occurred unexpectedly, it seems like as if there's conspiracy against the French team, that's why people continue to talk about it. Of course, Italian fans would defend their own, it's natural reactions, and there's nothing wrong with it. But this fight must stop. It's somewhat getting ridiculous. This is becoming more of a personal insulting place rather than a community that talks about football. It should stop... Immediately. Ok, i'm done here.

Why do you care about people on this forum, we (non Italians) all know that Italy didn't deserve to win WC , they had easier opponents on there way to the final( but even France didn't deserve to win against Brazil, they were much better, but Perreira made stupid choices with Ronaldinho playing in the back and not make the wright substitutes at the wright time), but they won and Italy is World Champions, SO WHAT!!!!!!!!!!
Nobody is talking about WC any more , only people in this forum!!!!

of direction we could tutor admire. Like i've got consistently pronounced, i do in comparison to giggling at individuals's misery. It basically does not experience top. I think there are a lot of people who still share your opinions, by thinking that another team deserved to win more than Italy, so not "everyone" dislikes you in the first place... Besides, there are still the ones who are open-minded in their views and accept others' opinions.

Why would you ever want EVERYBODY to like you? First off, it's impossible, and secondly, you would just make yourself miserable trying.
