Michelle Wie is definitely an awesome player. I agree that she should learn how to win a professional event. However, the media has a great influence on all sports and try to capitalize on a 'Good Thing'. As far as the Lord's gift to golf I would say that she is far from that. Has she helped the women's game? Most would say without a doubt. As far a trying to make a cut on the PGA Tour this is just a media ploy. The worst part about it is that there is a male player that is most likely missing his chance to play because a spot was taken by her. I think if they are good enough to play with the best in the world then they should be able play against the men. She has not shown the mental strength to beat the women let alone the men.

I think she should keeping doing her thing and ignore the naysayers. Like her or not, she has huge star appeal. There is no golfer that gets more attention than Wie in any tournament, other than Tiger. The wins will come soon enough.

I think that Michelle is unfortunately being persuaded to become a player who is contented with just qualifying on the men's tour instead of learning about what it takes to win on the women's tour. Maybe Nike needs to justify paying her so much money by having her set some sort of record by qualifying for the men's tour because she can't do anything on the women's tour that Annika hasn't already done.

She needs to do whatever she wants to do. Picture yourselves at 16-17, being probably the best in the world for your age and gender. It would be hard to tell you what to do also. Reality though, she does need a win merely to retard some of the ridicule morans give her. The same morans that can't drive as far as she hits her 9- iron. And a little credibility would be good around her peers.

she is the Lord's gift - she's a woman golfer with a man's length, which is not common - even Annika Sorenstam as great as she is cannot compete with Wie's distance - when she finally comes into her own she's going to knock women's golf on it's asss - even Tiger didn't make cuts on the PGA when he was 16 - give her time, she's going to be fun to watch

She's a fantastic golfer who is still a kid and is one of the best out there. Give her a break - she's a heck of a lot better at golf than I was at anything when I was her age.

If you were 16 and had incredible talent and as a result you were given opportunities to test yourself against your heroes, male and female, you would be a fool not to take advantage of the chance. Give her time she will win plenty.

She is good. I think she should win a womans tournament before she enters anymore for men. Maybe she shouldn't be allowed at all. Tiger isn't allowed to play on the ladies tour.
