In the following week, my car was washed, my lawn was mowed (twice), my leaves were raked, my hedge was trimmed, the broken window in my garage was replaced, and the fence I was meaning to build around my yard appeared - and I have no idea who did it.
Am I a bad person?

You just did a random act of kindness to someone you don't even know. You made me laugh harder than I have in a long time! Thank you!
P.S. I hope this story isn't true.

It doesn't sound like you're particularly well liked. There are many possible explanations for that though. Maybe you're not a bad person, but people might find you annoying or arrogant or strongly dislike some of your characteristics. Maybe it's time to look at yourself and see how you treat other people or think about what it is about you that obviously bothers a lot of people.

We can't judge you on here about whether you're good or bad. But perhaps you have annoyed some people at your church. I like idea of doing something nice for someone you can't stand though.

Your church didn't say to do something nice to a bad person. However, I would look at your behavior and seriously ask yourself, and maybe others that you trust, how you can improve your people skills.

you are not a bad person, but maybe a lot of people have been offended by something you did or said or didnt do.
for some of them, it may have more to do with them than you (they misunderstood something and held offense).
you could mend things, by talking more to people and apoligizing for any unintended offenses.
also, count your blessings that people know you and decided to shower love all over you anyway. God bless :)

Hahah wow that would make me think I really sucked.
But maybe your no bad, maybe your not like them.
If you show kindness and love twards others you might never get things done around your house..hahaha
Im sure your okay. but if you have doubts ask your preacher if your that horrible.
