I have a Mustek 1200 UB plus scanner. And the cords to plug it in. Its plugged into my USB port. Now what do I do to get it working? Ive been frustrating myself for the better part of my day trying to figure this crap out, I just find files called "frontends" and "backends" and drivers, etc... I think I downloaded the correct driver, but idk where it is, what it does, or ANYTHING, someone please give me step by step simple instructions to get it working, PLEASE, and thanks!

I found the link to the driver download page for your scanner, it's listed below.

HOWEVER, Did you have the scanner UNPLUGGED from the computer when you installed the driver\software as instructed???

Also the instructions clearly state NOT to plug the scanner into FRONT USB ports!

QUOTING:"Make sure the device is not plugged into the computer during the drivers install. After all the files are installed plug the device into the computer. DO NOT PLUG DEVICES INTO "FRONT" USB PORTS ON THE COMPUTER AS THESE ARE "HUB" PORTS AND the system may not "see" the device."
