Americans will not get over it, and illegals damn sure won't get over the next step in the immigration process. Walking aound like they have no worries, we'll see!

well we need to toughten up or borders and then fine the people that hire illegals. if they cannot get jobs over here then they have to leave. law enforcement should be able to arrest people because of their immigration status.

I simply don't understand people trying to reason that anything illegal needs to be accepted and to "get over it"
how many crimes do these people(the illegal supporters)do on a daily basis that they would be held accountable to the law if caught ? You need to wake up on your namby pamby excuses for anyone committing a crime
and then being proud of it.The laws are for all,not just for the other guy,its mainly focused on people from Mexico because that's where most of the influx of illegals enter and come from,who and where should it be focused.? There aren't a lot of Canadians sneaking across our northern border now is there ? I welcome any nationality to this great country with open arms as long as they enter it the legal route. You need to get over that,all of you that support accused criminals such as all illegal immigrants get over yourself and your whining about justice.
I grant you that anywhere in the US,no matter what the conditions is better for poor Mexicans than in their native country.I do not blame anyone for wanting a better life,just come to us without the taint of being illegal,why cant you do it the legal way?

What exactly is that next step? Throwing everybody out and giving America back to the Native Americans? Luckily I married a Native American, so at least we'll get to stay! Not too sure about you though.....

I think worrying about deportation is fine, but it won't solve the problem. They'll just come back in. If you build a wall, they'll just come around, over, or under it.

Strengthen border security, yes. But you have to find solutions in other policies as well. If we could work as a continent to improve working and wage conditions throughout, there would be less desire. Equitable labor conditions are the only way to prevent immigration.

By the way, I'm totally okay with your views - so don't get me wrong - but expect massive inflation, because prices will rise a great deal if you get your wish.

I support that idea, not out of malice but out of fairness. If you're an american citizen, you're expected to follow our laws. If they come to america and expect to get by with whatever, well then it's time for em to leave, simple as that. We have enough problems in the United States without millions of freeloaders and lawbreakers, Mexico etc. need to reform to where they can actually take care of their own people.
