Is it making it difficult for you to discipline your child(physically or verbally) in public or private?

Yes because someone will always look at what you do as abuse no matter what you say or do.

When my son was 3 he was fighting in preschool and not listening, etc...I spanked him and he went in the next day and told his teacher he would be good because if he wasn't he was going to be spanked again. The teacher called Social Services on me. I had to explain why I spanked my child and how I did it. It was a horrible experience, but in the end I knew I had done the right thing. They didn't indicate me, but it did scare me. I still believe in spanking and my son has been spanked since.

Because a lot of the parents are now coming of age that were previously the abused children of the previous generation they are now parents and the vicious cycle continues ....

I still spank, it's not abuse, I got spanked and would have been a real brat if I hadn't. You tell them you just wait till we get home!
