Did the dog deserve this?

My mom is so mad at me because of what I did to the dog. See I was house-sitting our dog- a German Sheppard- and its a girl so she's gentle. I was on the couch eating Dunkin Donuts and was trying to enjoy the TV. I decided I wanted the dog to join me on the couch. So I signaled for her to get on the couch. But she wouldnt. I signaled again and said "Sasha!" But she wouldn't budge- she looked frightened. I dont get it- just because Im a big man or something. Finally I got really pisssed and I grabbed her by the collar chain and forced her up on the couch next to me- and hit her hard in the nose for disobeying me! She yelped but I didnt care- she had no right to not listen to me. She yowled in pain but I forced her to stay on my lap for the rest of the evening- and to punish her more I didnt feed her or give her water. Anyways my Mom noticed the dog was acting funny when she came back and scolded me for doing it. Im a young adult (20s) in case anyone cares. So why do people think this?

Are you for real???? Has she been trained not to get on the furniture??? Have you been trained to act like a civial person (adult or child)?? Ok ... let me put this in very simple terms that even an idiot like you would understand. You do not hit a dog, a child, a person!! She sounds like a very gentle dog not to have turned on you like anyone else would have. SHAME ON YOU!!!!! You should be ashamed of yourself, and if I were your mother, I would have sent you to bed without supper! What you did was abuse your pet, the loyal friend you have, and you abused her. Hope that makes you feel like a "big" man.

I rescue, i'm heavily in contact in rescue. yet some rescue human beings are loopy and that i tend to think of an excellent sort of nutty human beings try this. RATIONAL human beings do no longer try this sort of ingredient. there's a reason our rescue has no longer something to do with the national Doberman rescue. They alienated a woman and took back HER dogs because of the fact somebody else did no longer like her. whilst she took them to courtroom, the dogs dissapeared. The dogs replaced into stolen from her and not something replaced into achieved. i do no longer have confidence everyone who will do something like this, distinctly whilst they sense the ought to get the media interest. She appears like Ingrid Newkirk to me.

WOH wow the dog DIDNT deserve to get hitt and it can be where ever it wants to be... LIke lets say your mom is eating on the couch and your on the computer doing something really cool and she asks come sit here with me! Then she scoles your name, and lets say your still not listin then you get hit just because you didnt go...?? I dont think there is nooo need to hit your dog or i dont think your mom needs to hit you... Dogs have feelings to..
Ok back to the story and lets say you had to sit by her with NO FOOD AND NO WATER any you were really hungry and thirsy.. So please give more attention to the dog then hitting it.... GOOD LUCK!

im not going to report u but be nice to the dog if he doesnt want to get on the couch dont force him just let him be and also dont hit the dog if u hurt him and he needs to go the vet what r u going to tell them then theres a chance u can get him taken form u. if u r deppressed get on some med

You are a complete idiot. Never hit a dog.
Never force a dog to sit with you on the couch or anywhere else. She probably knew you were an idiot to begin with so she did not want to be anywhere you were. Dogs can sense stupidity, and you're rife with it.

I'm not a pyschiatrist but don't mass murderers abuse animals first, then people? You have real anger issues, that much is obvious. If your mother only "scolded" you instead of getting you some counseling. maybe she needs her head examined as well!!

If I was your mom I wouldn't feed or give you water for your behavior and you would also be given the boot out the door on your ***...It's evident by her the dogs behavior you've been mean to her before..So be kind to her MOVE OUT ON YOUR OWN AND DON"T EVER GET A PET AND NEVER WATCH POOR SASHA AGAIN...

If you are serious, YOU need help!!!! Poor dog. All that does is make her afraid of you. Go control your own life b4 you try to control an animal. Animals were put here for us to take care of not to abuse. I've been working with abused & abandoned animals for over 30 years. This is definately abuse. I can only imagine how scared that poor dog is & was. You don't deserve to have an animal at all! And you can go to jail for abusing animals.

maybe your mother taught your dog not to get on teh furniture... My dog is allowed but she doesnt likes to be with me at times, I do tell her to come and count to 3 several times lol and if she doesnt comes i get up and tell her with a different tone of voice to come to me, but i would never punish her by not feeding her or not giving her any water because she would probably forget why you are punishing her. I do not hit my dog unless its extremely necessary for like when she goes chasing after people after i told her NO/HEAL/COME several times and just to keep her out of serious trouble and that would be just 1 or 2 spanks and a BAD GIRL SHAME ON YOU! I guess thats why my dog most of the time listens to me, because I dont abuse her over dumb stuff like you did.

dog have no understanding when they get hit.to get the dog to do what you want you have to use postive reinforsment.. you wouldnt want someone to hit you...its no wonder that she wont listion to you.
fear is not the way to get control over a dog or anything else for that matter.
what you have done is animal abuse. and i think your mother should smack you around and with hold food and water from you so you know what the poor dog went threw.
