I've lost lots of weight on a beer diet.
Drink all the light beer you want on Friday and Sat. but no solid food, clear broth only. Eat normally on Sunday but no beer. Monday beer, Tuesday food, Wed. beer, Thurs. food. Start over on Friday.
May not be healthy, but you lose weight.

I hate to break this to you, but light beer IS sissy stuff.
Drink real beer. If you want to lose weight, eat less and exercise more.

If you want to loose weight you should avoid alcohol intake, because it slows down your metabolism. As of beers "Miller lite" is one kind with low carbohydrates. Go to the market and read the labels.
