Thank goodness for the Internet. I talk to my siblings as often as I can. We all live so far apart.
My husband on the other hand, will (maybe) talk to one or two out of his 5 brothers once a year. That includes the one who lives a few miles away from us.

I have one brother, and I don't even see him on the holidays. He works a lot and just opened a business in addition to his other job, so getting a hold of him is not easy.
My family is not exactly close anyways, so I'm not really put off by this.

i stay in touch with my sibs as much as humanly possible. i am in japan right now (military) so i can't see them except via web cam, but when i was in the states i saw my sister , brother-in-law, and brother P all the time;baby brother C is stationed in Iraq so i have only seen him via web cam. it's hard when you also have the only niece and everyone except C has held her...she was born when he was in Iraq. i wish that i could go back to the states for C's mid-tour leave, but can't. hopefully next year i can get back and finally see him, and everyone else in the family...two cousins are getting married, oh and i am close with them too. ever see the movie "my big fat greek wedding" the big family that is realy close, well that's mine except we are not greek, just big and close. I Love My Family, and Miss Them Very Much.

I stay in touch with my older sister on the phone and through email. In one way or another we talk at least weekly. My younger sister has her head up her a$s so we don't talk. She failed to show up for Christmas and Easter this year, I suppose I won't see her this Christmas either.

Of course I stay in contact with my siblings. I prefer if I lived in the same city as they did, oh well, (my husband is in the military).

Well, right now I have to live with them. So I see them everyday. But, when I was on my own I saw them about once a week.
