I think you have to separate the degrees of caring. I think most people would call 911 if they witnessed a terrible car crash, which is a degree of "caring", some but not all of those people would give up their seat on the subway to a pregnant woman, and some but not all of those people will say "thank you" to the waiter who brings their food at a restaurant. I think most people care about the "big stuff" but many are very inconsiderate about the smaller stuff.
Also, many people who are very caring about what is happening in their immediate proximity (the ones who thank the waiter) are not as able to "care" about what is not immediately visible (i.e. driving a big SUV and contributing to global warming).

Mistrust, distrust, greed, selfishness. It's all about survival and keeping our own heads above water. Too many people out there without scruples or even basic morals who try constantly to take away what the other guy has so as to better himself. Liars and cheaters, thieves and ne'er-do-wells come in all shapes and sizes and it's just too hard to sort them all out. We have politicians and governments to help us sort ourselves out according to how we believe the world should be run and to enforce the laws of the lands to keep us safe from those who think so much differently than we do. The world is a very complex place and though we would all like to have peace and harmony in this world, we have a very long way to go before we can all decide how that world should be made and see run by those we can all trust. We're all too busy with our own lives to end world hunger or even house the homeless in our own land. It's not that the majority doesn't care... it's because it takes all we can do to take care of ourselves sometimes and we forget the needs of others. We all have to care for ourselves first lest there be no one at all to care for anyone else. Life is hard and unforgiving. We can only do what we can do and hope there is enough left over to share.

in step with your questio "Are human beings evil with the aid of nature" the place nature is the operative word, i could ought to say no. this is for the reason that in case you have been to revert a individual to their maximum primitive degree, they does no longer be overly risky. This primitive human ought to do the occasional risky ingredient, yet ordinarily they could probably be very harmless and unknowing. To greater advantageous illustate my ingredient, you need to have faith of an toddler. babies and the very youthful have little or no abilities of the international wherein they have been born and overall performance in actuality on that that's human nature; interest, starvation, soreness, etc. A human can commit acts of finished single-minded selfishness. that's human nature to be selfish, as selfish animals have a bent to survive greater interior the wild. yet selfish is a some distance cry from Evil. And no longer all people who's selfish is a spiteful woman. And now no longer each and every individual is completely selfish. contained on the subject of Evil, there would be little doubt that the international is crammed with some beautiful ill doggies. I duno if i could say that maximum folk are evil. i could ordinarily subject it at some million-3% are genuine Evil human beings. i could be wrong, or it somewhat is doable which you have have been given become jaded over the years and notice darkness and sh*t, the situation there is least perplexing clouds and airborne dirt and dirt. the two means, I doubt the international is as undesirable as you spot it. some human beings are basically top and a few a bad, even nevertheless maximum, i think are generally neautral-marvelous. "With all its sham, drudgery, and broken objectives, it somewhat is in spite of the undeniable fact that a astounding international." (desiderata) adult men and girls ought to ask your self you in case you provide them a risk. there'll forever be people who will injury you, yet there is additionally 5 greater advantageous human beings waiting to ask you approximately your day. Cheers.

What a compassionate/passionate question! If we all would only live by the Golden Rule, fellow human beings would b cared about on a grand (global) scale. It seems we could only do our parts.

I so wish I knew the answer to that question. Isn't it just so sad and wasteful. People are evolving into selfish egotists who only care about the size of their TV's and going to Wal-Mart.
When I meet someone with a humanitarian attitude, I'm astounded because it's very rare nowadays. We need a peace activist of this generation. Someone to motivate and lead people towards a humanitarian lifestyle. We need our own Gandhi right now.
Great question.

I think most people care a great deal about the guy next to them or in their own community.
I don't think it's possible or even reasonable for one to expect another single individual to "care" in an effective way about each of the other 6.5 billion people on this planet.
That's why terrorists kill strangers...they don't see the humanity in someone they don't know personally. But even a terrorist cries when his mother or child gets murdered.

People are so self absorbed, especially in a capitalist society.I doubt that this question would apply to third world countries who are dependent on people caring. It seems that this question applies more to a capitlist society, the one we live in here in America.I find that people here are only interested in "their things"e.g. their new home, new car,the latest technology in t.v.so they can enjoy watching sports, getting promoted at their job,etc.,etc,.They don't care about what's going on around them, just don't touch my things!People need to get spiritual and get in touch with themselves. Until they do that they will always only care about themselves. It's a pathetic world we live in I know.

Do you care about me? If I'm sad, who else share my sadness? When I die, will the whole world mourn my death? My point is that in this wide and cruel world, our lives don't mean a hell of a beans to others.

Because giving out love isn't a guarantee that you will receive love back, and most people aren't willing to take that chance. They aren't willing to love others unconditionally.
