New Zealand has very restrictive immigration laws. The chances of you qualifying, is actually fairly small. So, don't get your hopes up.

As always, it depends on how you define it. A lot of Brits end up coming back to England. It's a different culture - people are friendlier. Cost of living there can be high, though, because NZ is very reliant on imported goods.
Certain things you just don't get over here. Earthquakes, volcanos, amazing mountain ranges.
Ooooo, I'm feeling homesick.

Its much better now that Frodo has flung the ring into the volcano, all the orcs work in sheep farming and the elves still provide the best education.

The South Islands better than the North, but a far better standard of life than the UK--- they're careful who they allow into the country, no crims or bludgers there.--unlike here !! good luck.

It's like going back fifty years - but in the right way. If you like open air, wild life, adventure sports, it's for you. If you like clubbing and night life possibly not except in Auckland or wellington..
