You are trying to mix science with religion. In science there is infinity, in religion there is GOD. While scientist can be and are religious, GOD is Omnipotent not infinite.

God means different things to different people. But there is a an important difference between infinity and God. Infinity is a concept, an idea........God is a concept and an idea only to those who do not believe in God, and hence for whom there is no point in discussing its nature. For those who do, believe in God, it means something that exists in the same way you and I exist. And so it cant be equated with concept or an idea. But for some of them infinity can only be an attribute of God. But they are likely to be monists (not monotheists). And it is debatable if the single entity which monists believe to exist can be called God.
But if you are not a monist and still believe in God, i dont see how you can attribute infinty to God. For if God is infinite, are you God? If your not God, then there is an entity that is not God. How can God be infinite? It does not make sense, does it?

The Absolute Truth is that from Whom everything material and spiritual has emanated (Srimad-Bhagavatam 1.1.1). Everything within our experience and outside of our experience has its origin from the Supreme Lord. He is the fountainhead of all energies which are primarily three: jiva-sakti (the living beings); maya-sakti (the material world and the deluding potentcy of Maya which keeps the forgetful living beings bound to illusion); and the cit-sakti (the spiritual energy which comprises the spiritual realm and the Lord's internal potency).
Common sense tells us that the source must contain the result or have the potency to create the result. Therefore the Lord must be a person, since we are all persons. Some say that personality is due to the combination of material elements that form our bodies and minds. This is not correct. We are eternal persons. The soul is by nature personal, not impersonal. No combination of chemicals can produce personality. Personality and consciousness are both symptoms of the eternal soul, our real nature. And since we are parts and parcels of the Supreme Soul, the Lord, He is the eternal, Supreme Person, full of knowledge and bliss.

Infinity and eternity must be God.
The unreachable ends are the evidence that these are originated from a wisdom much beyond our understanding. So we call it infinity (numerical) and eternity (time). He has both these forms. That is He and He alone.

Infinity is of God. God is not infinity. Light is of God. God is not light. All matter is of God. God is not matter.
The only thing that existed equal in depth to God was the infinite vacuum. God was infinitley stronger than the vacuum.

Perhaps not in the context that you mean, God is eternal, existing before time, Time itself was created by God for us as He does not need it, God lives beyond time He is Omni-Temporial and had no Creation or beginning.
